Over 75 people turned up in Stankey’s Bar in South Buffalo Tuesday night to meet and greet with Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton, as her campaign coffers increased by over four hundred dollars in the “Blizzard of Bucks” cashbooth.
Erie County Democratic Chairman Jeremy Zellner said that Clinton broke local records in the cashbooth, earning more money than any other political candidate in WNY history who stepped inside the booth:
“You only get 45 seconds in the machine, but Hillary’s dogged determination paid off a princely sum. I tell you, I’ve never seen anyone grab money faster!”
After exiting the cashbooth, a visibly sweating Clinton, still with bills of various denominations sticking out of her pants, jacket and blouse, had this to say about the record-setting haul:
“I will fight for the American people as much as I did to snatch every dollar I could in that machine. Now, how ’bout some shots?!”
